The alkynyl modified 7-deaza-adenosine derivatives were synthesized and their antitumor activities were tested. The desired compounds were synthesized through the reaction of 7-deaza-adenosine and alkyne under the catalysis of Pd(PPh3)4 and CuI, their activities were evaluated by MTT method and cytometric anal. Four kinds of alkynyl modified were synthesized. These synthetic compounds showed strong inhibition activities against tumor cell proliferation. The cytometric anal. showed that compound 3a could block cell cycles of HL-60 and KB at the G1 stage and induce HL-60 cell apoptosis.
