The reaction mixture was heated to 40¡ãC. After 16 hours, the reaction mixture was filtered, and the filtrate was concentrated under reduced pressure to afford the crude residue. The residue was purified via chromatography on silica gel (methanol/DCM, linear gradient) to afford dihydrofuran-3(2H)-one.
