The mixture was stirred at 0 C for 2 h, and the reaction was then quenched with sat. NaHC03 solution. The aqueous layer was extracted by DCM (3x). The combined organic layers were dried over MgSC>4, filtered and concentrated at low pressure. The residue was purified by flash column chromatography on silica gel to give 235-2 (2.4 g, 89.6%)., 453-20-3
